#1 MOST IMPORTANT FENG SHUI TIP!

Before we even get into what Feng Shui is or isn't, this is the most important tip to implement in your home.

Hello my friends! I'm going to be taking you through THE most important Feng Shui tip. Before we go into explaining what Feng Shui is, Qi, the three lucks, all of it - THIS is one thing that you must do to ensure the beneficial energy that Feng Shui brings can flow around your house. Read on to see what this tip is and why it's so important.

“Whether you have dabbled in Feng Shui or you're a beginner and know absolutely nothing about it, this tip is the most important to implement in your space before you even get into the nitty-gritty of how Feng Shui works."

GET RID OF ALL YOUR CLUTTER

Sounds easy, right? But why is this so important?

Feng Shui is extremely complex, but if I was to sum it up, it simply uses certain principles to enhance the energetic 'flow' in a space to maximise its potential and the opportunities it can bring.

Imagine if you were a soft breeze entering the doorway of your apartment or house, travelling into each room, under the beds, into the cupboards and wardrobes. Would your journey be an easy one, or would it be hampered by various tidbits?

Energy moves around in a similar way, and having clutter can actually lead to blockages in the area of your life depending on where it's located in your space. Even if you were to get your place "Feng Shui-ed", there would still be problems in that area of your life which pop up. If you'd like to get some more insight into the Feng Shui of your home, don't forget to check out the reports that I provide.

In fact, where my clients seem to accumulate the most clutter gives me a pretty good insight into which areas of their lives are troubling them - and it's pretty spot-on! That's how much impact it has.

Clutter signifies the areas of our lives that we hide, the deep subconscious fears we don't want to deal with. It also signifies holding onto the past, which actually can prevent new opportunities from coming into your life.

By decluttering, you can face those issues head-on and clear any energetic blockages in that area. It also allows you to feel uplifted in your home, in your sacred space.

I'm going to give you a little bit of homework - after you read this post, go through one space and declutter it. It doesn't have to be a big space, just one that you use regularly, and I want you to see how it makes you feel afterwards. (If you live in the northern hemisphere, it's a prefect time to start doing some spring cleaning too!)

I know how difficult it is to start decluttering, trust me. I used to be a lil bit of a hoarder and save things "just in case I need them later on", so here are some of my tips to get you started:

If something is broken or hasn't been used or worn in over 6 months, chuck it out.

If something doesn't have sentimental value, chuck it out.

If you totally forgot you had this thing and it hasn't been on your mind sometime in the last 6 months, chuck it out.

Ask yourself, "Does this represent who I am or who I want to be?" If the answer is no, chuck it out.

The goal is to go through all your rooms and spring clean them all. It's a good habit to do this seasonally too, so there's no opportunity for clutter to build up. Clean EVERY. SINGLE. SPACE. The attic, the roof, the garage, the garden shed, the basement, under your beds, in the storage cupboard, I mean EVERYWHERE. Trust me, you'll feel the change in energy.
